ABC NEWS RADIO : Quartet-Turned-Trio Allure Back with Plans for Reality Show, New Album

Nearly 15 years have passed since R&B group Allure teamed up with 112 for the ladies' biggest hit, the Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam cover "All Cried Out." Now with a new album in the works, Allure announced on its blog that it will kick off an Australian tour July 26, with plans to shoot the pilot for an upcoming reality show, Allure: Still Together.

The group's self-titled debut album dropped in 1997, back when Allure was signed to Mariah Carey's Crave Records. The then-quartet split from Carey's company, eventually issuing three additional albums, and saw the departure of member Linnie Belcher.

The remaining members -- Alia Davis, Lalisha McClean and Akissa Mendez -- are back in the studio. They recently whipped up tunes for the reality show Ice Loves CoCo and NBC's Great American Health Challenge.
