As of this Friday no one that was affiliated with the original Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito WKCR 89.9 show will be on the station. Columbia University has decided they want only student programmed shows on the station. For those that don't know Stretch & Bobbito broke some of the biggest artists in hip hop and were pioneers in Hip Hop radio. People used to stay up from 1 to 5am to listen to the show on a Thursday night. I had the honor of being there the night that they played Wu Tang's Protect Ya Neck for the first time.....ANYWHERE. I don't usually get behind these petitions but I had to for this. If you were a fan then please sign this.
