Shout outs to Dutch for this gem!!!. For those that don't know Whiz Kid was a dope party DJ and producer in the late 70's and early 80's. The brother released the classic record "Play that beat Mr. DJ" with MC G.L.O.B.E (Soulsonic Force) on Tommy Boy in 1983. Watch Beat Street, the part where Double K goes to the Roxy for the first time, Jazzy Jay is rocking it.The record was later reworked by Steinski as Lesson One. I can't wait to get part 2 of this tape! Whiz Kid passed away in the mid 80's but his contributions to hip hop live on to this day. This is a jewel right here so do the knowledge.
